Kathi Randall, RN, MSN, CNS, NNP-BC
Director of Programs & Education
Kathi Randall has had an interest in the sub-specialty of neonatal neurology since her days as a bedside nurse. She has been an educator on fetal/ neonatal brain development, neuro-protective care, and neuro-monitoring and assessment for the last 15 years. Her passion for this topic has taken her around the globe as an invited speaker and guest at a number of universities and conferences.
Jenn Griffiths
Director of Operations
Jennifer has been with Synapse since the start, helping to lay the foundation. She has taken on multiple levels of leadership as she has moved into directing the full operations of Synapse. With her passion for organization and her artistic talent, she helps manage our annual ONE Conference, creates all of our graphic design projects, manages our online courses and website, helps to lead our team, and assists with making important company decisions.
Lizzie Khoury
Clinical Consultant
Lizzie began her NICU career at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in Southern California and has since worked in various roles including leadership, pediatric ECMO, and NICU transport. In her 23 years of experience, Lizzie has supported units ranging from Level II to IV throughout the Western United States. She began graduate studies at Rush University and completed her Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) DNP in 2024. Her doctoral project was the implementation of a high-fidelity mock code program in a Level III NICU.
